The National & Courtney Barnett add 2nd Prospect Park show to tour

The National recently announced a tour with Courtney Barnett, and that incredible double bill includes a previously-mentioned BRIC Celebrate Brooklyn! Festival show on June 12 in Prospect Park. Both artists have performed as headliners at the same venue in the past, so not that surprisingly, The National and Courtney have now added a second Prospect Park show (6/13) happening the next night. Tickets for the newly-added show go on sale Friday (3/22) at 10 AM with a BrooklynVegan presale starting Wednesday (3/20) at noon. Check back here Wednesday morning for the password. The National’s new album I Am Easy To Find will be out May 17 via 4AD (along with an accompanying short film), and you can hear lead single “You Had Your Soul With You” below. Courtney Barnett is releasing the new single “Everybody Here hates You” on Record Store Day.
