The National played Chicago w/ Alvvays (pics) ++ stream Brooklyn show

The National recently wrapped up the first leg of their tour supporting their great new album, I Am Easy to Find, with a show at Chicago’s Huntington Bank Pavilion on Northerly Island on Friday (6/28). Joined by a couple of the album’s guest vocalists, Kate Stables (of This Is The Kit) and Mina Tindle, they played much of their new album, as well as some older favorites and a rarer track, “Santa Clara,” off their 2008 The Virginia EP. Check out pictures from the show in the gallery above, including openers Alvvays, and see the setlist below.

In June, we caught The National at their Brooklyn Show in Prospect Park. WFUV broadcast it live on air, and now they’ve made the recording available to stream online in full, too. Listen here.
