The new location of Brooklyn Bazaar opened this past weekend, featuring three floors of fun, food, shopping and live music. The main floor has the tables from local artisans, as well as the in-house branch of the Brooklyn Star restaurant; downstairs has ping pong, mini golf, arcade games and karaoke; and upstairs is a nice performance space for ticketed shows. Having taken over the old Polonaise Terrace banquet hall space, Brooklyn Bazaar kept much of that kitschy ’70s decor: earth tones, mirrors everywhere, ornate light fixtures, and a very cool lit peacock design behind the stage.

Opening weekend featured Clap Your Hands Say Yeah on Friday (9/9) and Pissed Jeans on Saturday (9/10). Did you check it out? Pictures from Friday are in the gallery above.

This week at Brooklyn Bazaar: a screening of Roman Polanski’s Knife in the Water on Tuesday (9/13, free), Comeback Kid on Wednesday (9/14, tickets), Remy Banks with Nasty Nigel on Friday (9/16, tickets) and I Am The Avalanche, The Moms, and Godbrother on Saturday (9/17, tickets). You only need tickets for the upstairs live shows, the other two floors are free to enter.
