The Obsessed announce tour

Heavy metal legends The Obsessed, one of the many projects of Scott “Wino” Weinrich, will return on April 7 with their first album in over two decades, Sacred (on Relapse). So far three songs are out, the slow-paced doomy “Sodden Jackyl,” the riff rocker “Razor Wire,” and the Motorhead-ish “Punk Crusher.” Now The Obsessed have announced a lengthy tour in support of the album too.

The tour includes a Brooklyn show on May 18 at Saint Vitus. That show (and several other dates) is with Karma to Burn and Lo-Pan. Tickets for that show go on sale Friday (3/10) at noon. All dates are listed below.
