The Original Misfits reunited again in LA & Vegas (videos, setlists)

Glenn Danzig, Jerry Only and Doyle reunited as The Original Misfits once again, for Los Angeles and Las Vegas shows, after playing together for the first time since 1983 at Riot Fest 2016. Like at Riot Fest, they were joined at last week’s shows with original Slayer (and current Dead Cross) drummer Dave Lombardo. They ran through classics like “Last Caress,” “Astro Zombie,” “We Are 138,” “Die Die My Darling,” “Bullet,” “She,” “Night of the Living Dead,” “Violent World,” and more. You had to lock up your cell phones at the shows, but some people still managed to snag some videos. Watch clips of all of those aforementioned songs and see the (almost identical) setlists from both nights below.

Each show had a fellow veteran punk band opening — Fear in Vegas and Discharge in LA — and the comparatively newer (and clearly Misfits-influenced) Alkaline Trio opened both.
