The Quietus names its Albums Of The Year 2016

arabrot

In a sea of samey year-end list, you can always count on UK based site The Quietus to come up with something different. While there are familiar names on their Albums Of The Year 2016 (Bowie, Solange, Frank Ocean), it’s loaded with interesting choices and there’s probably at least one record in its top 20 that you haven’t checked out. The top slot goes to The Gospel from Norway’s impossible-to-classify Arabrot, and they’ve also made room for Matmos, The Caretaker, Shirley Collins, and more.

Check out The Quietus’ Albums Of The Year 2016 list below and head their way for commentary and streams.
