The Raconteurs played 3 NYC shows & ‘Fallon’ (pics, setlists, videos)

Following a run of four intimate NYC release shows the same weekend The Raconteurs released their first album in 11 years, Help Us Stranger, Jack White, Brendan Benson & co brought their tour back to NYC this past week for three larger shows: Hammerstein Ballroom on September 5 & 6 and Kings Theatre on September 7. They changed the setlists up a bit each night, and worked in some covers like The Stooges’ “I Wanna Be Your Dog” and Albert King’s “Born Under A Bad Sign” on 9/6 and Eddie Cochran’s “Summertime Blues” on 9/7. For the 9/6 show, which The Raconteurs said on Instagram was a two-hour, ten-minute show (one of the longest of this tour so far), they also brought out Yeah Yeah Yeahs guitarist Nick Zinner to play with them on “Broken Boy Soldier.” We caught the 9/6 show, and Jack White seemed very happy on stage to be going past curfew (they ended just before 11:30). Pictures of the 9/6 show (including shots of opener Olivia Jean) are in the gallery above. Setlists for all three nights below.

While in NYC, The Raconteurs also stopped by Fallon for an interview and performance, and you can watch video of that below too.

The Raconteurs’ tour continues in Boston tonight (9/9), hits Chicago’s Riot Fest this weekend, and continues through late November. All remaining dates here.
