The Smiths release “The Queen is Dead” as a single to celebrate the LP’s birthday

The Smiths‘ classic third album The Queen is Dead was released on June 16, 1986 and to celebrate its 31st birthday, the title track is being released as a vinyl single for the first time. It’s available in two formats: a 12″ single featuring the 1992 edit of the song with b-sides “Oscillate Wildly,” “Money Changes Everything” and “The Draize Train”; and a 7″ picture disc with “I Keep Mine Hidden” on the flip. They’re in stores now.
