The Verve's Richard Ashcroft played Terminal 5 (pics, setlist)

Former Verve frontman Richard Ashcroft is currently on tour supporting his new solo album, These People, and hit NYC’s Terminal 5 on Monday night for his first show here in some time. His set also featured a fair amount of Verve songs, including hits “Sonnet,” “Lucky Man,” “The Drugs Don’t Work” and, of course, “Bittersweet Symphony” which closed out the night. (If you were hoping for anything before A Northern Soul, you were out of luck).
