The Weeknd announces 2017 world tour (4 NYC-area shows)
The Weeknd will release his new album Starboy on November 25 via Republic — and already released the title track and “False Alarm” — and he’ll support it with a world tour in 2017.
The tour hits NYC on June 6 at Barclays Center has other shows in the area on May 19 at Atlantic City’s Boardwalk Hall, June 3 at Nassau Coliseum and June 4 at Prudential Center. Tickets go on sale Friday (11/4) at noon with Citi/VIP/artist presales starting Tuesday (11/1) at 10 AM. Hopefully these shows go over smoother than the last time The Weeknd scheduled a NYC appearance.
