The Well - Pagan Science

The Well on Norman Reedus' AMC show, releasing new LP (listen to a new track)

The Well - Pagan Science

Austin’s The Well are getting ready to release their new album Pagan Science. Produced by Chico Jones at Micro Mega Studio, it comes out on October 14 via Riding Easy records. The Well play heavy, doomy psych-rock/proto-metal as well as anybody, and that continues with the new material. We’re happy to premiere the opening track from Pagan Science. It’s called “Black Eyed Gods” and it’s a catchy, groovy slab of heavy rock. You can listen to it below.

The Well, who played Levitation Fest in their hometown in 2015 and 2016, have also been making the rounds lately as they recorded the theme song for the new AMC show from the Walking Dead’s Norman Reedus. The show, called Ride With Norman Reedus, finds Norman traversing the US on his motorcycle and doing episodes on various locales. In addition to making the theme song, The Well also feature prominently in the Texas episode of the show, which you can watch here.

You can pre-order Pagan Science here. Check out a photo of the Well with their buddy Norman, taken at Hotel Vegas in Austin, and listen to the sick new song below:
