As mentioned, Thee Oh Sees’ hiatus was a brief one — the same amount of time off for most bands wouldn’t even be noticed — and they’re playing California shows in May. Still no word if a proper tour is in the works, but the band will play Brooklyn’s Northside Festival, an outdoor show at McCarren Park on June 14. Like the CHVRCHES show on 6/15, this is free and open to the public but you will need to RSVP which you can do beginning Friday (4/25) at noon.

Thee Oh Sees’ new album, Drop, was released on Record Store Day (4/19) and you can stream it via Rdio. Updated tour dates are listed below…
