Think About Life @ Knitting Factory, NYC | pics

Every time I leave an intimate basement show by an inhibition-less band that connected with the audience (no matter how small) in some sweaty, dancy & violently musical way, I get selfishly nervous that increasing popularity will have them playing larger venues. In turn, part of what made them so magical would be lost. On the other hand, a lot of bands adapt to their new surroundings just fine. This awesome Think About Life show (May 17, 2006) was in the basement of Knitting Factory…

Think About Life

Think About Life started around 1:30 AM, after Art Brut left the larger stage upstairs.

Members of Art Brut, We are Scientists, Heartonastick and Crackers United were among the 30 or so people left watching the late show.

Someone posted a short video clip from this show. Someone else posted a video from one of their recent rowdier Montreal shows. Yeti has MP3s.
