This Is Hell reuniting for full LP show & Wild Fest 3 (lineup)

Wild Fest 3

The third annual Long Island DIY punk fest Wild Fest, which benefits the family memorial fund for the late Iron Chic guitarist Rob McCallister, goes down August 10 & 11 at Amityville Music Hall.

As usual, there are some reunited LI bands playing. Day one has melodic punks Latterman and post-hardcore rippers The Backup Plan, who have played reunion shows here and there in recent years, plus ’90s punks Latex Generation, emo-ish ’90s band Splurge, and Microwave Orphans. Day one also includes Mikey Erg, Witches With Dicks, Sainthood Reps and Greg Baker.

Day two has the first show in five years from melodic hardcore crushers This Is Hell, a reunion from Gracer (members of On The Might of Princes and The Backup Plan), and Alove For Enemies. That day also has Iron Chic, Night Birds, The Fad, Primitive Weapons, Wax Phantom, Makeshift, and Ellen & the Degenerates.

Tickets are on sale now.

Meanwhile, This Is Hell will play their 2006 debut Sundowning in full at the same venue (8/12) the next night. Tickets for that show are on sale too.
