Geoff Rickly‘s screamo band United Nations played a couple shows with post-rockers RLYR (members of Russian Circles, Pelican and Locrian) earlier this week, including Boston on Tuesday (6/21) and Brooklyn last night (6/22). The Brooklyn show happened at Saint Vitus with additional support from Spotlights (who are about to tour with Deftones and Refused) and Dan Friel. Did you catch the show? How was it? Pictures of UN’s set at Vitus are in the gallery above. Their only other upcoming show at the moment is The Fest.

Geoff Rickly also has some solo shows coming up, including two just outside of NYC. There’s a Long Island show on July 8 at Amityville Music Hall and NJ show on July 10 at Stanhope House, which also has A Balance Between, Gary Bender and Eyeswan on the bill. Tickets for both of those shows are on sale now. All of Geoff’s solo dates are listed below.

And of course, Geoff’s beloved post-hardcore band Thursday are reuniting this year, including a few festival appearances and a Jersey show on December 30 at Starland Ballroom. That show sold out very quickly, but the band added another show happening one night earlier (12/29) at the same venue. TIckets for that one are on sale now.
