tickets for The Residents' 'God In 3 Persons' shows at MoMA on sale

Tickets to The Residents‘ January 24 God In 3 Persons show at MoMA go on sale to the general public today (1/10) at 9:30 AM, while the two January 25 shows go on sale Saturday (1/11) at 9:30 AM.

In case you’re unfamiliar with the premise behind these shows, The Residents are presenting 1988’s God In 3 Persons live for the first time ever with a seven-piece band and audio-visual theatrical experience. The show is is directed by Travis Chamberlain with musical direction by Joshua Raoul Brody and puppetry and background design by Leigh Barbier. Video artist John Sanborn is providing the projections and joining The Residents for these shows will be vocalist Laurie Amat. You can watch a promo video for the shows below.

As mentioned, The Residents also bring their ‘Dog Stab! Tour’ to NYC’s Le Poisson Rouge on April 30, and tickets for that show are still available.
