In other news, just a few days after playing the Bridge School benefits in San Francisco, Neil Young headed down to Los Angeles to play a benefit (10/30) for the Silverlake Conservatory of Music, a non-profit educational organization founded by Flea of the Red Hot Chili Peppers (via Rolling Stone). The event,t which happened in the back yard of the Paramour Mansion in Silverlake, featured sets by Neil and RCHP, and the two came together for a cover of VU’s “Waiting for the Man,” not unlike what happened at the Bridge School benefit.
