Tindersticks announce new LP & 1st NYC show in 10 years; stream "The Amputees"

Tindersticks are back with a new album, No Treasure but Hope, due November 15 via City Slang. The band made the record in just five days and “known routes” were avoided. “The last two albums were gradually built to a point of being finished in our studio from moments of playing and recording together,” says frontman Stuart Staples. “When we figured out how to present the songs live, different things happened to them. This time, we wanted to reverse that – to do something that was about being committed to a song together in a moment.” The first single is the jazzy, vibraphone-fueled “The Amputees,” and you can watch the lyric video, made by Staples and Suzanne Osborne, below.

It’s been 10 years since Tindersticks toured North America and, while they haven’t announced a full trek, they will play NYC at Murmrr Theatre on April 1. Tickets will be on sale Friday, September 13 at 10 AM.

All dates are listed, along with album art, below.
