Tiny Engines has been on a roll with signing new bands lately. This month alone, they added three new bands to their roster.

One is Oakland’s Club Night, who will release their debut EP Hell Ya on August 25. Distorted guitars clash with synths, vocalists pile on top of each other, and the result is a high-spirited, lovely mess. To give you an idea, the label says the EP is recommended if you like Los Campesinos!, The Go! Team, and Pretty Girls Make Graves. Watch the video for lead single “Rally” here:

Another new signing is Portland, OR’s Strange Ranger, who used to be called Sioux Falls. Last year they released the album Rot Forever as Sioux Falls, and it picked up some buzz, landing them on Stereogum’s 40 Best New Bands of 2016 and Consequence of Sound’s Top 50 Albums of 2016 lists. It’s a 73-minute album that shows quite a bit of ambition for a young lo-fi indie band, and perhaps that ambition will follow on their first album for Tiny Engines, Daymoon, due out this fall. No music is out from Daymoon yet, but meanwhile you can stream Rot Forever:

The last new signing (for now at least) is Atlanta’s Floral Print. Their debut album mirror stages will be out on October 27. No music is out from it yet, but you can get a taste of the band’s off-kilter math rock from 2015’s woo EP (streaming below). They’re also touring, including a Bronx show on August 5 at Carl Sage Inn and a Brooklyn show on August 8 at Alphaville. The Alphaville show is with their TE labelmates Personal Space, plus Norwegian Arms and Airhead DC (tickets). All dates below.

In other TE news, The Hotelier are touring with openers Oso Oso and Alex Napping, including a November 2 show at Brooklyn Bazaar (tickets). TE bands Mannequin Pussy and Spirit of the Beehive are both opening the upcoming Japanese Breakfast tour, including the Brooklyn show at Music Hall of Williamsburg on October 12 (tickets).

NYC’s Wild Pink, who released their debut album for the label earlier this year, open part of Matt Pond PA‘s tour, including the Jersey City and Brooklyn shows (tickets). They also have a Knitting Factory Brooklyn show in August with Ratboys and All Get Out (tickets), and they play Goldsounds on July 26 with emo revival band Football, etc (tickets). All Wild Pink dates are listed below.
