The 13th annual “Great Night in Harlem” takes place at The Apollo on October 24 with Herbie Hancock receiving a Lifetime Achievement Award from Quincy Jones, with special guest Bruce Willis. “Herbie himself will make an all-star tribute to our beloved trumpeter Clark Terry.” Chaka Khan will pay homage to Maurice White of Earth Wind & Fire. Al Jarreau, Jimmy Heath, Steve Jordan, Charles Bradley and more will be there as well. Tickets are on sale now.

The late H.R. Giger will be celebrated on October 15 at Spectacle Theatre with shows at 7:30 PM and 10 PM where “rarely seen documentaries, experimental films and music videos made by HR Giger,” will be screened. More info here.

Tickets for the Belle & Sebastian show at Radio City go on Fan Club presale today at 10 AM. You can also go through Ticketmaster beginning at 11 AM with code GLASGOW.

Tickets for the Alt-J show at Madison Square Garden with Phantogram go on fan presale today at 10 AM. You can get access if you’re on their email list.

Tickets to see Modern Baseball, Foxing, Crying, Somos and others at Music Hall of Williamsburg go on AmEx presale today at noon. No presale for their Gramercy show.

DOM are playing Mercury Lounge on December 27. Tickets for that show go on AmEx presale today at noon with a general on-sale beginning Friday (10/3) at noon.

Riff Raff is playing the Marlin Room at Webster Hall on October 29. Tickets for that show go on sale Thursday (10/2) at noon.
