Kid Cudi has announced the Passion, Pain & Demon Slayin’ Tour, which hits NYC’s Central Park SummerStage on October 6. Tickets go on sale Friday (8/18) with presales starting Thursday (8/17).

Tickets for James Blake‘s rare, intimate solo piano shows at Lincoln Center’s Appel Room go on sale at noon.

Tickets for UK new wave/synthpop vets Heaven 17‘s first-ever NYC show at Highline Ballroom go on sale at noon.

Tickets for Grizzly Bear and serpentwithfeet‘s third show at Brooklyn Steel go on AmEx presale at noon. The first two nights are sold out, as is Grizzly Bear’s intimate NYC release show happening next week. You can still get tickets to see Grizzly Bear at BSP Kingston with Delicate Steve tonight (8/16).

Tickets for the Death From Above (who dropped the “1979”) show at Brooklyn Steel go on AmEx and Spotify presales at 10 AM and noon, respectively.

Less Art (members of Thrice, Kowloon Walled City, and Curl Up & Die) are releasing their debut album and going on a Northeast tour with Vattnet, which BrooklynVegan is presenting. They’ll be at Mercury Lounge 9/14 (tickets ), Middle East in Boston 9/15 (tickets), Songbyrd in DC 9/16 (tickets), and Underground Arts in Philly 9/17 (tickets).

Dinosaur Jr are back in NYC this fall for two shows at Brooklyn Bowl, 10/2 (tickets) and 10/3 (tickets). BrooklynVegan is psyched to be presenting these shows, which are opened by Easy Action (John Brannon from Negative Approach’s other band)
