The 2017 XXL Freshmen list hasn’t been revealed yet, but it has been announced that the annual XXL Freshmen live show will happen on June 28 at Playstation Theater. Tickets go on sale Friday (5/19) at noon.

Tickets for the Paramore and Best Coast show at Radio City go on fan presale at 10 AM.

Tickets for the Mary J Blige shows at Coney Island Boardwalk and the Theater at MSG go on fan club/VIP/Pandora presales at 10 AM and Citi presale at noon.

Tickets to see Pinback play Autumn of the Seraphs in full at Irving Plaza go on Live Nation/Music Geeks presale at 10 AM (LN password = SOUNDCHECK).

Tickets for the Thundercat show at Brooklyn Steel go on AmEx presale at noon and Spotify presale at 1 PM. Thundercat also plays Brooklyn’s Afropunk festival.

No wave legend and experimental composer Arto Lindsay released his new album Cuidado Madame this year on Northern Spy, and he recently toured with the back-in-action Beauty Pill. Arto and Beauty Pill since added another NYC show, happening October 17 at Le Poisson Rouge (tickets).

OSDM revivalists Horrendous will play Saint Vitus on July 15 with Undergang, Necrot and Siege Column (tickets).

Likeminded band Gatecreeper, who released the great Sonoran Deprivation on Relapse last year, play a matinee at Vitus on June 3 with Outer Heaven and Nerve Shatter (tickets).

The sludgy Big Business, who released Command Your Weather last year, play Vitus on June 28 (tickets).

Mongolian folk metal band Tengger Cavalry play Vitus on July 7 with Felix Martin and a special guest TBA (tickets).

Swiss death metal duo Bölzer play Vitus on August 25 with TREPANERINGSRITUALEN, Pissgrave and Sangus (tickets).

Castle, Final Sin and Sanhedrin play Saint Vitus on September 18 (tickets).

Rozwell Kid, Chris Farren and Great Grandpa are playing Baby’s All Right on August 4 (tickets).

Katy Perry is releasing her new album Witness on June 9 and touring, including NYC-area shows at MSG on 10/2, Nassau Coliseum on 10/3, Prudential Center on 10/8, and Barclays Center on 10/11. Tickets go on sale Monday (5/22) at 10 AM with fan/Citi/VIP presales starting Thursday (5/18). The new album includes her Migos collaboration “Bon Appétit,” which has a video:
