T-Pain is headlining “The Brooklyn Spread,” a neighborhood festival celebrating “Brooklyn, food, music, and basketball.” It happens at The Bell House on July 21 from 1-6 PM and also features performances by Smoke DZA, Abby Jasmine, Levy Grey, Lowfi, and Crunch Calhoun, with food from Frankel’s, Sweet Chick, Frankie’s Spuntino, Holy Ground BBQ, and more. Tickets are on sale and all proceeds benefit the Brooklyn Youth Sports Club Academy programs.
Texas psych collective Golden Dawn Arkestra don’t play a whole lot of shows outside their home state, but they’re heading to Brooklyn to celebrate the release of their new album on August 24 at Elsewhere Rooftop. Tickets are on sale.
Sinkane plays Bryant Park on August 8 at 5:30 PM. Part of the Carnegie Hall Citywide series (that also includes Brave Combo, Locos por Juana, and more on other dates). The concert is free.
Senator Hillary Clinton has been added as a speaker to the first day of the two-day Ozy Fest on July 21 at Central Park SummerStage. That day’s lineup also includes Common, Young Giant, Hasan Minhaj, Martha Stewart, Salman Rushdie, Alex Rodriguez and more (tickets).
