Brooklyn rap vets Black Moon are celebrating the 25th anniversary of their 1993 debut album Enta da Stage at SOB’s on October 18. Tickets are on sale.

Garth Hudson (of The Band) and High Water (aka Nicolas Jaar collaborator Will Epstein) are doing a unique show in Kingston, NY at BSP on October 28. They’ll be performing live soundtracks to the films of Harry Smith and Jordan Belson, with Sister Maud Hudson performing selections from Harry Smiths Folkways Anthology and songs by The Band, Bob Dylan, and others. The Antlers frontman Peter Silberman will be a special guest for the evening. Tickets are on sale.
