Noisecore vets Today is the Day recently announced their tenth album, Animal Mother, which will be out October 14 via Southern Lord, and they’ve since made a video (dir. David Hall) for its single “Masada.” It’s a super-heavy deranged crusher and the video is appropriately hallucinatory. Check it out below.

TITD will also be going on a tour surrounding the album’s release with Chicago’s blackened sludgers Lord Mantis (who also have a new album out this year). The tour hits NYC on October 12 at Acheron with Goes Cube/Hull-related sludge band Cleanteeth and harsh noise/PE project Swollen Organs. Tickets for that show are on sale now. There’s also a TBA Long Island show on October 17.
