Tom Petty's Mudcrutch share Sean Penn-directed, Anthony Hopkins-starring video for "I Forgive it All"

The famous musicians in Tom Petty‘s band Mudcrutch have linked up with some famous film-people for the first video from their upcoming album, 2. They’ve recruited Sean Penn and veteran music video helmer Samuel Bayer to direct and Anthony Hopkins to star in the mournful, pretty, black and white clip for the pretty, sparse acoustic song. We see Hopkins walking through poverty-stricken streets before ending up in a small room, muttering and then yelling “I Forgive.” The whole thing is very Anthony Hopkins, not to mention very Sean Penn. And the song is really good.
