Tomberlin shared "Seventeen," announces release show in Brooklyn

Sarah Beth Tomberlin, better known simply as Tomberlin, is giving a proper release to her debut album At Weddings on August 10 via Saddle Creek (it initially came out on Joyful Noise last year as a limited release with three less songs). We recently posted the official lead single “Self-Help,” and Tomberlin since released another single, “Seventeen,” which is one of the tracks that wasn’t on the initial At Weddings release. It’s another fine example of Tomberlin’s gripping, bare-bones songwriting, with her delicate but bold voice backed just by some acoustic guitar arpeggios and melancholic strings. Julien Baker and Phoebe Bridgers fans take note. Watch the Zach Xanders-directed video below.

Tomberlin has two upcoming shows in her current hometown of Louisville, and she also added an album release happening in Brooklyn at Union Pool on August 14. Tickets for that show go on sale Friday (6/29) at 10 AM. All dates are listed below. UPDATE: Yowler and Emily Yacina are opening the Union Pool show.
