Tombs Grand Annihilation

Tombs streaming "Cold" off new LP, touring with Fit For An Autopsy

The great Brooklyn metal band Tombs will release their fourth album, The Grand Annihilation, on June 16 via Metal Blade. They teamed back up with producer Erik Rutan (who also did Savage Gold, and has worked with Cannibal Corpse, Goatwhore, The Mountain Goats, and more) for this one, and frontman Mike Hill calls it “a very dark and introspective record.” The first single is “Cold,” which is rooted in black metal but takes things in a handful of unpredictable directions. Listen below.

Tombs have also announced a tour providing direct support for Fit For An Autopsy, with heavy-rock weirdos Moon Tooth opening on all dates as well.

That tour hits Tombs’ hometown on July 9 at Knitting Factory. Tickets for that show go on sale Friday (4/21) at noon. All dates are listed below.

Fit For An Autopsy will be supporting their new album, The Great Collapse, which came out on eOne/Good Fight last month. You can watch two videos off that album, below.
