Tori Amos announces book tour for new memoir 'Resistance'

Tori Amos has a new memoir, Resistance: A Songwriter’s Story of Hope, Change, and Courage, coming out on May 5, and she’s just announced a book tour supporting it. Starting on the day of its release, she’ll stop in NYC, Chicago, Washington DC, Philadelphia, San Francisco, and Los Angeles for what she’s calling “a special night of conversation about hope, change and courage.” The NYC date happens at Murmrr Theatre on May 5, and tickets are on sale now. Tori released her fifteenth album, Native Invader, in 2017, and this memoir follows a previous book, 2005’s autobiographical Piece by Piece, which she wrote with music journalist Ann Powers.
