Tori Amos released her anticipated fifteenth album, Native Invader, on September 8, and later this month she begins a North American tour in support of it, including two sold out shows at Beacon Theatre. She’ll be in NYC even sooner, though, to do a signing at Barnes & Noble in Union Square on October 20. The signing starts at 7 PM, and you need to purchase Native Invader from Barnes and Noble to get a wristband for entry. From the event page:

A limited number of wristbands for event access will be distributed with the purchase of Tori’s Native Invader LP or CD from this Barnes & Noble location beginning at 9am the day of the event. She will sign up to two items per customer.

Tori also did an AMA at r/Music on Wednesday (10/18) where she answered questions about touring, her role models, the origin of Native Invader‘s title, Jungian psychology, and her choice of shoes. She also talked a little about Harry Potter (she’s a Ravenclaw, but she hangs out with a lot of Slytherins), and, best of all, revealed her desire to be part of the Wu-Tang Killa Bees. When asked her favorite Wu-Tang Clan member, she answered:

I like them all and I’d like to be a Killa B in the Wu Tang Killa Bs and I volunteer to be a Killa

You can read the entire AMA here.

In other news, Tori’s lost “hair metal” album, Y Kant Tori Read, is getting a vinyl and CD reissue for Record Store Day Black Friday. You can see all of Tori’s upcoming tour dates, listed below.
