Toronto's DOOMSQUAD releasing new LP 'Total Time,' share "Pyramids On Mars"

Toronto’s DOOMSQUAD will release their new album, Total Time, on April 29 via Hand Drawn Dracula. As fits their Now Age aesthetic, the band made the album in the New Mexico desert, and the record features contributions from Mike Haliechuk of Fucked Up (DOOMSQUAD helped realize FU’s ‘Zodiac’ shows), and Canadian avant-garde cult artist Mary Margaret O’Hara. Check out new single “Pyramids on Mars,” which evokes a strong jungle theme (like deep vegetation, not the ’90s dance music style). Listen below.

DOOMSQUAD will be dipping below the U.S. border to play some shows this month, starting with SXSW, where they’ll play the Bella Union and M for Montreal showcases, among other shows. After Austin, they will play a few shows with Minneapolis’ RONiiA.

All dates are listed, along with album art/tracklist and the new song stream, below.
