Torres announces first show of 2019, streaming new songs
Torres hit a roadbump in her career when she was recently dropped by 4AD, but she hasn’t let it slow her down much. She’s been gradually releasing new songs, some of which you can only hear if you subscribe to her Patreon (like her recent Portishead cover), but a few of them are available to anyone and you can hear those below.
Torres has also been playing some shows. Next up, she’s got a sold-out house show in Crown Heights on December 8, and she just announced her first show of 2019: NYC’s Le Poisson Rouge on March 22. Tickets go on sale Friday (11/30) at noon.
