Torres, Caveman & Overcoats playing free shows at NYC Dr. Martens stores

Torres, Caveman and Overcoats will each be playing free shows at various Dr. Martens stores in NYC this month. You need to RSVP to get in, and the shows will have drinks by Topo Chico, Deep Eddy, and Pabst Blue Ribbon too.

Overcoats play 8/10 at the Herald Square store, Torres plays 8/17 at the Union Square store, and Caveman play 8/24 at the SoHo store.

The Dr. Martens series will also happen in LA, SF, Seattle, Chicago, Philly, DC, and Boston later this summer and into fall. Those shows are still TBA.

Torres just played the NPR 150 Greatest Albums by Women show, playing music by Britney Spears and Kate Bush, and she also has a headlining tour coming up, including MHOW on 10/27 (tickets). Her first album for 4AD, Three Futures, will be out on September 29. You can hear two songs below.

Overcoats released their debut album Young earlier this year. You can watch them play some songs off that in an NPR Tiny Desk Concert below.
