A HAWK AND A HACKSAW

A Hawk and a Hacksaw, who count Neutral Milk Hotel’s Jeremy Barnes as a member, are playing some North American shows this fall including Brooklyn’s Elsewhere on 10/6, plus dates in Philly, New Haven, Montreal, Detroit, and more.

PIG (with KILLING JOKE and more)

Industrial vets Pig were supposed to give a post-screening performance at the showing of the new Wax Trax doc Industrial Accident at House of Vans Brooklyn last week, but they ended up dropping off. They do have more upcoming shows planned, though, including two in NYC. They’re opening part of Killing Joke’s tour, including the Irving Plaza show, and also playing a smaller headlining NYC show at Bowery Electric on 9/24. All dates here.

BOB WEIR AND WOLF BROS

The Grateful Dead’s Bob Weir has a new trio, Wolf Bros, and they’re touring this fall.

OBSCURA

German tech-death band Obscura recently released their new album Diluvium, and they’ll go on a North American tour in September and October. The tour stops in Seattle, Vancouver, Denver, Toronto, Philly, atlanta, New Orleans, Austin, LA, and more, and it includes their first NYC show in seven years on 9/26 at Knitting Factory Brooklyn with Beyond Creation, Archspire, Inferi, Exist, and Sycarian (tickets).
