BON IVER & SHARON VAN ETTEN

The dream team that is Bon Iver & Sharon Van Etten are on the road together through 9/15 when they take over the Forum in LA this weekend. Bon Iver continues touring in October (Barclays Center and New Yorker Fest included).

BIG THIEF added to “LIVE FROM HERE”

Big Thief are prepping their second LP of 2019, Two Hands, which will be released a few months after their adventurous, psychedelic U.F.O.F. The band will head out on tour this fall in support of the new album (beginning with three NYC shows), and on top of that, the band was just revealed as an upcoming guest on Chris Thile’s Minnesota Public Radio show Live From Here, happening at NYC’s Town Hall on 11/16. RYLEY WALKER

Ryley Walker, who just played an NYC show last night, is preparing to have a busy end to 2019. Earlier this summer, he announced dates opening for heavy psych rockers Black Mountain, which runs throughout November and December, and since then, Ryley’s added a few more dates to his schedule, including an Austin show with LA-via-Canada band Pink Mountaintops, happening as part of Levitation. SUPERGRASS

Supergrass have gotten back together to celebrate the 25th anniversary of I Should Coco with a 2020 tour. They’ve added a second NYC date (and we’re giving away a pair of tickets).

LEE “SCRATCH” PERRY

Iconic producer and dub reggae pioneer Lee “Scratch” Perry added to his prolific, ever-growing discography with this year’s Rainford, and he’s recently added several US tour dates to his upcoming tour, which begins in Minneapolis next week, before other shows in Chicago, Oakland, Seattle, Hermosa Beach, and Ardmore, among others. He’s also got a previously-announced date at Brooklyn’s Industry City Summer Series on 9/21, along with four new UK dates. Find all dates here.

SONGHOY BLUES

Malian band Songhoy Blues will be on tour starting this month, including a NYC show at Baby’s All Right on 10/24. They’ve added some more dates to their tour, including another NYC show, playing The United Nations on September 22. Other shows include Atlanta, Austin, New Orleans, Portland, L.A., Vancouver, Boulder, Toronto, Boston, and more. SRSQ

Goth artist SRSQ is set to wrap up a North American tour leg opening for Torche this weekend, before she begins another opening stint with fellow goth-y act Drab Majesty across Europe this fall. Following this, she’ll play a one-off headlining date at NYC’s Union Pool on 10/9, accompanied by Canal Street Electronics (featuring members of past tourmates Uniform), Romantic Thriller, and several others TBA. This is her only upcoming US date at the moment.

MASSIVE ATTACK

Massive Attack are concluding their rescheduled North American tour with a DJ night at NYC’s Webster Hall with “special guests,” which happens after a pair of shows at Radio City Music Hall celebrating the 21st anniversary of Mezzanine.

AMERICAN FOOTBALL

American Football’s influential 1999 debut turns 20 today, and to celebrate the milestone, the band announced three intimate hometown Chicago dates, where they’ll be playing deep cuts and taking fan requests.

TAKEN

Influential California melodic hardcore vets Taken have announced a pair of rare Northeastern tour dates happening in Boston and NYC, with support from State Faults and Gatherers.

TWIN TEMPLE / AMIGO THE DEVIL / KING DUDE

Satanic doo-wop duo Twin Temple are prepping a new 7″ single, and they’ll be heading out on tour this fall with “murderfolk” artist Amigo The Devil and noir-country artist King Dude.

SAMPA THE GREAT

Sampa The Great just released her excellent debut LP The Return, and she’ll be promoting it on tour in spring 2020, hitting Philly, DC, Boston, Brooklyn, and more cities.

ANTI-FLAG

Pittsburgh punks Anti-Flag are playing headlining shows in NYC and LA later this year, following festival appearances at Riot Fest, Music4Cancer, and Louder Than Life.
