BRIAN FALLON / JUSTIN TOWNES EARLE / WORRIERS
Brian Fallon added second NYC and NJ dates to his upcoming tour with Justin Townes Earle and Worriers. Tickets for the newly-added shows go on presale Wednesday (12/18) at noon, using the password LOCALHONEY. More info and all tour dates here.
HINDS (ADDED TO STROKES/MAC DEMARCO NYE SHOW IN BROOKLYN)
Hinds were just in NYC a few weeks back and will be jetting in again from Barcelona — where they’re working on their album — to help The Strokes and Mac DeMarco ring in 2020 at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center. That’s their only North American show currently but they do have spring European dates — check out their whole schedule here.
KURT VILE & CATE LE BON
Kurt Vile appears on Cate Le Bon‘s 2019 album Reward (on track “Magnificent Gestures”) and they both played on a bill with Dinosaur Jr in Central Park this year. Now Kurt and Cate are teaming up for a tour where they’ll play “together and solo” backed by Warpaint’s Stella Mozgawa and Stephen “Sweet Baboo” Black, both of whom have played with Le Bon before.
CORRIDOR (DATES WITH DEEPER)
Montreal’s Corridor, who released the terrific Junior this year, have started to announce 2020 dates, including a run around SXSW that includes an appearance at the 2020 Savannah Stopover, Orlando, and Dallas. That run kicks off at Brooklyn’s Rough Trade on March 4 which is with Chicago’s Deeper and those two bands share a similar sonic palette. Deeper and Corridor will also play Chicago’s Tomorrow Never Knows festival in January. All Corridor dates are here and you can listen to Junior here:
With their new album You Deserve Love out now, White Reaper have just announced a 2020 headlining tour that kicks off on Valentine’s Day in Milwaukee and runs though March 27 in Newport, KY. Those dates include a Brooklyn stop at Music Hall of Williamsburg on March 24. They’ll be back on the road in May starting at Shaky Knees, including a Canadian run. They’ll also be on tour in Europe opening for Pearl Jam. Head here for all dates.

Twin brother jazz duo The Mattson 2 recently wrapped up a tour with Marco Benevento, and they’ll be on the road again in early 2020, including shows in DC, Philly, Brooklyn (Rough Trade on 2/22), Buffalo, Toronto, Pittsburgh, Nashville, Chicago, Milwaukee, Los Angeles, Denver, Seattle, Portland and more.
THE GET UP KIDS
The Get Up Kids added headline dates happening during their tour opening for Dashboard Confessional, including shows in New York, Connecticut, Ohio, Virginia, and more.
Chicago rapper Lupe Fiasco will perform his classic 2006 debut album Food & Liquor on a 2020 tour.
SEPULTURA / SACRED REICH / CROWBAR
The current version of Sepultura — which includes longtime bassist Paulo Jr, longtime guitarist Andreas Kisser, vocalist/guitarist Derrick Green (who joined in 1998), and drummer Eloy Casagrande (who joined in 2011) — have announced a 2020 tour in support of their upcoming album Quadra with two pretty amazing openers: back-in-action thrashers Sacred Reich and NOLA sludge vets Crowbar. In related news, Crowbar’s Kirk Windstein confirmed he’s taking part in the Down NOLA 25th anniversary shows.
Lloyd Cole has been celebrating his entire career so far on the “From Rattlesnakes to Guesswork” tour and he’s continuing that into 2020 with shows in Boston, Seattle, Portland, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Phoenix, and Denver. DAWN (aka Dawn Richard) released her great new album new breed at the beginning of 2019, and she recently started putting out more new singles. Now, she announced a NYC show happening on Valentine’s Day (2/14) at Mercury Lounge. Tickets go on sale Friday (12/20) at noon and they’re on Citi presale now. It’s her only announced date at the moment.
OVERKILL / EXHORDER (including NJ w/ M.O.D. & DEMOLITION HAMMER)
NJ thrash vets Overkill and back-in-action New Orleans thrash/groove vets Exhorder are supporting their new albums on tour in 2020, and the tour ends with a special NJ show featuring even more veteran talent from NYC crossover trash vets M.O.D. (still led by founding vocalist Billy Milano) and reunited NYC thrash vets Demolition Hammer.
Lauryn Hill added a second NYC-area show, and so far these are only her only US dates scheduled for 2020.

Van Halen’s David Lee Roth has announced that he’ll open KISS’ farewell tour in 2020.
Nigerian pop artist Davido has announced the 2020 North American A Good Time tour, supporting his great new album of the same name.
