GHOST
Occult rockers Ghost recently released their new album, Prequelle, and announced big headlining shows in NYC and LA. Now they’ve announced the full itinerary for “A Pale Tour Named Death,” which takes the band throughout North America this fall. Find tickets and dates are here.

A PERFECT CIRCLE
A Perfect Circle released Eat the Elephant, their first album in 14 years, earlier this year, and they’ve been on a world tour in support of it. They just added some additional November dates in the US to that tour. See all of A Perfect Circle’s upcoming tour dates here, and watch their new 2-D hologram video for “The Contrarian” below.

LIZ PHAIR/SPEEDY ORTIZ
Liz Phair just wrapped up a short tour celebrating the 25th anniversary of Exile in Guyville, where she performed songs from the Girly-Sound Tape in intimate settings. She has a bigger tour coming up in the fall, and now that tour has a name and an opener: the “Amps on the Lawn Tour” will be opened by the excellent Speedy Ortiz. Some dates (including Brooklyn Steel on October 6) are sold out, but find all dates and tickets here.

U.S. GIRLS/TUNE-YARDS
They’re calling this the first-ever “4AD tour” (at least in North America), featuring label-mates Tune-Yards and U.S. Girls. There are no NYC stops on the tour, currently, but U.S. Girls are playing with The National (another 4AD band) as part of their two-day There’s No Leaving New York fest at Forest Hills Stadium at the end of September. BODEGA
As they lead up to the release of their great debut album in July, Bodega continue to play almost weekly here in NYC, having played Northside this past weekend. They start their  North American tour this weekend in Toronto and have just added a tour kickoff show at NYC’s Public Arts on Friday (6/15) with Hints. All tour dates are listed here.

LVL UP
Sub Pop-signed Brooklyn band LVL UP have decided to call it quits but are going on one last tour before it’s all over.

THE DECEMBERISTS
Colin Meloy’s been suffering from vocal strain and The Decemberists have had to postpone this week’s shows, including the big Prospect Park show on Wednesday (which will now happen in August).

EVERYTHING IS TERRIBLE
The demented minds of cut-and-paste video collective Everything is Terrible toured their current work, The Great Satan, earlier this year and they’re bringing it back to NYC on September 5 at Gramercy Theatre. Tickets go on sale Tuesday (6/12) at 10 AM and it’s currently their only scheduled show.

NICKI MINAJ/FUTURE
Her much-anticipated new album got pushed back to August, but on the plus side, Nicki Minaj has just announced a tour with Future that includes two big NYC-area shows.

WANG CHUNG  / A FLOCK OF SEAGULLS
New Wave vets A Flock of Seagulls got their original lineup back together and rerecorded one of their their best songs,”Space Age Love Song” which you can listen to below. They’re going on tour with fellow new wavers Wang Chung for a tour called Lost ’80s Live. Some dates have Naked Eyes, Animotion, Bow Wow Wow, Dramarama, and Men Without Hats. ALKALINE TRIO/TOGETHER PANGEA
Chicago punk vets haven’t toured in a while and will be back on the road this summer and fall.

JON SPENCER
Hard to believe but Jon Spencer, of the Blues Explosion, Boss Hogg, Heavy Trash and more, has never released a solo album. His first will drop this fall, and he’ll be on tour this summer, including shows with Melvins.
