Gov't Mule

The following new tours were announced. Check the Tour Dates category every day for more.

Warren Haynes’ band Gov’t Mule are playing some shows this week, and they also just announced their annual New Year’s run. This year, it begins at The Met in Philly on 12/27 with The Allman Betts Band, and then they return to their usual NYC venue, Beacon Theatre, for shows on 12/30 with The Record Company and New Year’s Eve. They’re promising a “very special blowout” for NYE. All dates, tickets, and more info here.

Comedian and 2 Dope Queens podcaster Phoebe Robinson is on tour this fall, playing shows in Sacramento, Los Angeles, San Francisco and Philadelphia before year’s end. Before that she’s got a few NYC shows: tonight and Thursday at Union Hall, and October 10 at Bowery Ballroom. All dates are here.

Detroit’s Protomartyr are busy working on their new record but they do have shows on both coasts this fall. They’ll play Brooklyn’s Knockdown Center this Friday as part of Thrasher Deathmatch with Beach Fossils, Ceremony and more, and they’ll play Los Angeles on December 5 at Belasco Theater with Daughters and Show Me The Body.

Wand, who released the terrific Laughing Matter this spring, will be openers for Stereolab’s West / West Coast dates starting next week, including Denver, Salt Lake City, the Desert Daze Festival, Portland, Vancouver, Seattle, San Francisco and Los Angeles. That’s a good double bill! All dates are here.

Billy Corgan announced a fall solo tour, beginning with a three-night stand in LA and ending with a three-night stand in NYC, where he’ll play songs from Smashing Pumpkins, Zwan, his solo work, and more.

Swedish metal bands Opeth and Graveyard are teaming up to tour North America in 2020.

Opeth/Graveyard isn’t enough Swedish metal for you? Cult of Luna also announced a 2020 North American tour today, with support from Emma Ruth Rundle and Intronaut.

Bambara will release their new album Stray in February and will head out on tour right after that.
