Hot Chip are crossing the Atlantic this spring to play Coachella and will make the most of it by playing some other shows around the US, including stops in Dallas, Austin, Phoenix, Denver and Los Vegas. They’ve also got shows in India, Australia, Colombia, Spain and the UK. Head here for all dates and check out their brand new video for “Positive” which is from last year’s A Bath Full of Ecstacy.

Featuring founding members Bruce Watson (who now sings lead) and Mark Brzezicki, Scottish rock vets Big Country will be back in the US for a few shows in February and March, starting with Los Angeles’ ’80s Weekend #9 that also features Violent Femmes, Wang Chung, A Flock of Seagulls, The Romantics, Missing Persons, Heaven 17, Dramarama, China Crisis and…MC Hammer? Ok. After that they’ve got shows in NYC (Sony Hall on March 5 with Television’s Richard Lloyd opening), Pawling NY, and dates in Florida leading up to The ’80s Cruise which sets sail from Miami on March 8 with The B-52’s, Bananarama, Berlin, Patty Smyth and Scandal, Bow Wow Wow, Lita Ford and more. Masked country singer Orville Peck has added even more dates to his Spring tour surrounding his appearances at CoachellaStagecoach, Shaky Knees and Boston Calling. Newly announced shows include Seattle, Portland, San Francisco, Oakland, Las Vegas, San Diego, Pioneertown, Salt Lake City, Denver, Lawrence, New Orleans and more. The first half of the tour is with The Ruen Brothers while the second half is with Emily Nenni. Before that, Orville will be in NYC to play MoMA’s Armory Party on March 4. Tickets for all new dates go on sale Friday, January 31 at 10 AM local time. He was also just on Jimmy Kimmel Live performing “Dead of Night” and you can watch that below.

Greg Cartwright has gotten the original lineup of Reigning Sound — Alex Greene on organ, piano, guitar, and backing vocals, Jeremy Scott on bass and backing vocals, and Greg Roberson on drums — back together and they’ll tour the Midwest in March focusing on their first four albums, with stops in Milwaukee, Chicago, Detroit, and Cleveland. Boston indie rockers Future Teens, Brooklyn indie rock bands Pronoun and Proper are playing three shows together: NJ’s Asbury Park Brewery on 3/12, Brooklyn’s Alphaville on 3/13, and Boston’s Great Scott on 3/15. Before that, Pronoun also play The Dance on 2/6 with Nation of Language. Proper also play New Brunswick on 2/16 with Hit Like A Girl, Teenage Halloween, and Unwelcomed; and Brooklyn’s Saint Vitus on 2/28 with Iron Chic, Shellshag, and Night Surf.


UPDATE: Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs canceled their NYC and LA shows after SXSW was canceled.

UK stoner rockers Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs are releasing their new album Viscerals on April 3 via Rocket Recordings, and they’re also playing some US shows, including previously announced appearances at Brooklyn’s Saint Vitus on March 13 and SXSW. They also recently added a show happening at LA’s Moroccan Lounge on 3/15. All dates here.

NYC post-punks Bush Tetras are living legends, and it’s always worth seeing them whenever you get the chance. Right now, you have two chances: a hometown show at Le Poisson Rouge on February 21 and Mexico City’s Festival NRMAL in March.


UK group The House of Love will be coming to North America for the first time in nearly three decades, and the’ve added a few more dates to the tour.


”I am over the moon excited (and a bit scared) to be playing Quasi shows again. We couldn’t be happier to reschedule the dates we had to cancel after the accident last August,” says Janet Weiss. Dates are on the West Coast in April and July.


New Jersey’s Garcia Peoples have been straddling the line between indie rock and jammier territory since their inception, drawing comparisons to the Dead (which their name invites), Meat Puppets, The Feelies and Parquet Courts, and they’ve shared bills with Kikagaku Moyo, Ryley Walker, Howlin’ Rain and more. They’ve just announced a live album and more tour dates.


Twangy dreampop artist Honey Harper will release his debut album, Starmaker, on March 6 via ATO and has also been added to TOPS’ upcoming tour.


Quebec indie rockers Mundy’s Bay announced their Kurt Ballou-produced debut album for Pure Noise today, and they’ll also be touring with Hunny and Bay Faction.


Killa Cam has expanded his tour, which includes recently-added Northeast shows.


DMX is back at it and reportedly doing very well, and he’s got several tour dates coming up.


The full Psycho Las Vegas lineup is out now, and it’s insanely stacked, with Mercyful Fate, Danzig (playing Danzig II), The Flaming Lips, Curl Up and Die, Katatonia, HEALTH, Obituary, TSOL, Crowbar, Exhorder, Wolves In The Throne Room, Eyehategod, Pig Destroyer, Repulsion, and MUCH more.
