HOT WATER MUSIC

Hot Water Music have once again expanded their 25th anniversary tour, which finds them performing Caution and No Division in full. The newly-added dates include 2020 shows in Seattle, Portland, Richmond, Boston, and Kansas City. All dates here.

JUSTICE – SCREENINGS OF IRIS: A SPACE OPERA

French electro duo Justice are doing a one-night only screening of their concert film Iris: A Space Opera on September 10 at theaters nationwide in New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Dallas, Denver, Austin, San Diego, and more. All participating theaters and ticket info here.

MR BUNGLE

Mr. Bungle’s reunion shows in NYC, L.A. and San Francisco have been selling fast (they’re currently just on presale) so they’ve added second shows in each city.

CUPCAKKE

CupcakKe ‘s “The 10K Tour” falls around appearances at Yola Dia and the Adult Swim Festival, and hits Detroit, Boston, Atlanta, Portland, Austin, NYC, and other cities.

BEN KWELLER

Singer-songwriter Ben Kweller is prepping a new single, “Careless,” which will be out August 30. He’s also got a few live dates comeing up, including a single release show in Dripping Springs, TX, as well as a fall tour that so far includes stops in DC, NYC (Bowery Ballroom on November 8) and Nashville. THE CRAZY WORLD OF ARTHUR BROWN

Psychedelic rock legends The Crazy World of Arthur Brown perform on Friday at the 2019 edition of Psycho Las Vegas, and they have a couple more US dates after that too. They head to Austin on Saturday 8/17, then to NYC next week for a show at Le Poisson Rouge on August 22 (tickets). They also have a couple of shows booked for 2020 in the UK. See all dates here.

THE BODY & UNIFORM

The Body and Uniform’s collaborative album Everything That Dies Someday Comes Back, comes out tomorrow (8/16), and while they don’t have a joint tour currently scheduled in support of it, both bands have their own dates coming up. Uniform has dates with Boris, including Jersey City’s White Eagle Hall and Brooklyn’s Elsewhere. The Body have a few shows with longtime collaborators The Assembly of Light Choir, where they’ll do special collaborative sets. Those include Bell House on September 15 (tickets) and Basilica Soundscape.

MC50

Ahead of Cookeville, TN’s Muddy Roots Festival, which kicks off later this month, Wayne Kramer is playing a couple more shows at MC50, backed by an all-star lineup. Those include an NYC show at Le Poisson Rouge on August 29 (tickets). Next, they head to the UK in October to support Alice Cooper. See all dates here.

BOOGARINS

Brazil’s Boogarins will be in North America in September in support of their new album, Sombrou Dúvida, including a Brooklyn show at Industry City on 9/4 with tourmates Mdou Moctar. They’ve added a lot more dates since we last posted, including stops in New Orleans, Austin, Phoenix, Tijuana, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Portland, Seattle, Chicago and more. The Pernice Brothers are finally releasing a new album — their first in nine years — in September and they’ll play a few Northeast shows this fall in support.
