tours announced: HR of Bad Brains, Robert Glasper, Twin Temple, Kindling, more

The following new tours were announced. Check the Tour Dates category every day for more.

TWIN TEMPLE

LA duo Twin Temple do retro doo-wop revival with dark Satanic imagery, and in a recent interview with Noisey, the band talked about their style, asking, “what if a crooner back then hailed Satan instead? Or what if occult rock embraced du-wop instead of the emerging rock n’ roll of the day?” Ahead of their previously-announced dates opening for the Uncle Acid & The Deadbeats/Graveyard tour in March, they’ve got their own pair of headlining shows: first at Chicago’s Metro on 3/3, before stopping at NYC’s Saint Vitus on 3/5. Tickets go on sale Friday (1/25) at 10 AM, and you can find all dates here. The band also recently dropped their gory, NSFW video for “Sex Magick,” which you can view below.

HR (OF BAD BRAINS)

Bad Brains frontman HR played several solo shows in late 2018, and he’s recently announced a few more happening in February and March. He’ll be doing East Coast shows in Brooklyn (The Kingsland on 2/23) and Philly, before a series of California shows in Sacramento, LA, Anaheim, and Hermosa Beach. Head here for all dates.

After that, he has a couple of shows in CA, then heads back to the East Coast for a few others, including early and late shows at City Winery NYC with Chris Dave & Derrick Hodge as the Robert Glasper Trio. Tickets to those are on sale now. See all of Robert’s upcoming dates here.
