JOAN BAEZ

Folk icon Joan Baez released her first album in 10 years, Whistle Down The Wind, this spring and with that announced her final tour that she’s calling “Fare Thee Well.” That tour includes two shows this September at NYC’s Beacon Theatre on 9/20 and 9/21, as well as a just-added third Beacon Theatre show, this one not till May 1, 2019, and two shows at Port Chester’s Capitol Theatre, 5/3 and 5/5. BRODY STEVENS

Comedian Brody Stevens will be visiting the East Coast in October, including a rather intimate Brooklyn show at Union Hall.

JOYCE MANOR

Joyce Manor announced a new album and tour, including shows with Jeff Rosenstock, Vundabar, Big Eyes, and Peach Kelli Pop.

RESTORATIONS / WILD PINK

Tiny Engines labelmates Restorations and Wild Pink are hitting the road together this fall, including stops at Asbury Park Brewery on 10/19, Brooklyn’s Rough Trade on 10/20, and more. All dates here. Wild Pink are also touring with Thunder Dreamer (but not playing their NYC show) and releasing their new album Yolk in the Fur this week. Restorations are releasing their new album LP5000 on September 28, and they just put a new video for “The Red Door.” Watch:

KERO KERO BONITO

UK group Kero Kero Bonito have a new album on the way and just announced a North American tour (that came with its own theme song). The first part of the tour (East Coast and Midwest) is with Tanukichan, while West Coast dates are with Frankie Cosmos.

FRANKIE COSMOS

Meanwhile, Frankie Cosmos has lots more tour dates than just the run with KKB, including three NYC area shows with tour mates Lomelda and Stef Chura.

GUERILLA TOSS

Arty funk punks Gurilla Toss have a new album, Twisted Crystal, coming out September 14 via DFA and you watch the twisted video for first single “Meteorological” below. The group have also announced an extensive tour for the fall including the DFA Halloween Party at Market Hotel (10/31) with What Cheer? Brigade, and DJ sets from Juan MacLean and Stud1nt. CLAN OF XYMOX

Speaking of Hallowween, goth vests and 4AD allumns Clan of Xymox play Philly for the “Dracula’s Ball” as part of their fall North American tour.
