THE GET UP KIDS / KEVIN DEVINE

Not only is Kevin Devine doing a 10th anniversary tour for Brother’s Blood this year, he’s also heading out on tour in support of The Get Up Kids, including shows in Denver, Portland, Seattle, San Francisco, LA, Phoenix, and more. All dates and ticket info here.

‘THE LAST WALTZ’ with WARREN HAYNES, JOHN MEDESKI, DON WAS & more

An all-star lineup of jam and Americana-friendly artists will do a tour in tribute to The Band’s legendary farewell concert The Last Waltz, including Warren Haynes, Jamey Johnson, Lukas Nelson, John Medeski, Don Was, Terence Higgins, Dave Malone, Cyril Neville, and more. The tour begins at Port Chester, NY’s Capitol Theatre on November 5. Lineups vary slightly by date; all dates, lineups, ticket info, and more here.

EARTHGANG

Atlanta rap duo EarthGang are releasing their new album MirrorLand on Dreamville this week, and they’ll support it on a headlining tour with Benji, Duckwrth, and Guapdad4000.

COURTNEY BARNETT

Courtney Barnett is playing Wilco’s Sky Blue Sky festival in Mexico in January and right after is opening a couple shows for Brandi Carlile at Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium. Following those dates, Courtney will embark on a short U.S. solo tour where it’ll just be her and a guitar.

LOTUS

Jamtronica band Lotus are staying busy on the road, and they’ve added more tour dates including a Northeast run around New Year’s, with shows in Pittsburgh on 12/27, Brooklyn on 12/28, Boston on 12/29, and Baltimore on 12/30 & 12/31. All dates and tickets here.

GRUFF RHYS

Super Furry Animals frontman Gruff Rhys begins his North American tour, in support of his forthcoming album, Pang!, on Thursday in Brooklyn on Elsewhere’s Rooftop. He’ll then head to Chicago, Kansas City, Los Angeles, and San Francisco. Accompanying him on all dates is drummer and frequent Kliph Scurlock. THE GROWLERS

The Growlers begin their tour on Thursday (9/5) in East Moline, IL and will then hit Chicago, Detroit, New Haven, Northampton, Philly and DC before stopping in NYC for a big show at SummerStage in Central Park on 9/14 with The Lemonheads and The Nude Party. Further dates on the tour include Tampa, Fort Lauderdale, Asheville, Milwaukee, Minneapolis, Sacramento, Portland, Seattle, and more. Then they’ve got the three-day Beach Goth 2019 in L.A. over Halloween.

HOLLIE COOK

Hollie Cook, who just released a new single (listen below), will be in the L.A. area next week for two shows — Santa Monica’s Twilight on the Pier on 9/11 and Dub Club @ Echoplex on later that same night. She’s also got shows in the UK later this month. Head here for all dates.

THE FEELIES

The Feelies have added a couple more shows to their 2019 tour schedule, including one in Jersey City where they’ll play their first two albums in full.

KIM PETRAS

Synthpop artist Kim Petras, who has collaborated with Charli XCX and others, will be going on the Clarity Tour this fall, including stops in Vancouver, Seattle, Portland, Oakland, L.A., Austin, Orlando, Nashville, Atlanta, Brooklyn (Avant Gardner on 11/16 and 11/17), Philly, Boston, Toronto, Chicago, Denver, and more. CINEMA CINEMA

Brooklyn art-punk duo Cinema Cinema are prepping new album CCXMD which will be out in November via Nefarious Industies and goes into ambient and atmopheric free-jazz territory. Around the same time they’ll be on tour on the West Coast and Southwest, including stops in Bakersfield, Pasadena, Reno, San Francisco, Oakland, and Texas stops in Denton and Dallas. Before that, they’ve got a Brooklyn show at BC Studio on 10/19 and a Levittown, PA show on 11/2. All dates are here.

CLOUD NOTHINGS

Cloud Nothings announced a New Year’s Eve show happening in Brooklyn, after their fall tour with Cursive and The Appleseed Cast.

REMO DRIVE / SAMIA

Rising indie/emo band Remo Drive are touring this fall, including an East Coast run with Samia.

J ROBBINS (of JAWBOX)

Jawbox frontman J Robbins is doing a full-band solo tour in December, including a BrooklynVegan-presented Brooklyn show at Saint Vitus.

THE MR. T EXPERIENCE / MIKEY ERG

Cult punk faves The Mr. T Experience are playing some shows this year, including Philly and Brooklyn dates with another cult punk fave, Mikey Erg.

SHORELINE MAFIA

Rising LA rap group Shoreline Mafia are touring, including a show at NYC’s Webster Hall.
