EVERY TIME I DIE / TURNSTILE / ANGEL DU$T / VEIN

In addition to opening some dates on Fall Out Boy’s tour, Buffalo metalcore vets Every Time I Die are going on a much more appealing headlining tour with opening sets from three killer boundary-pushing hardcore bands: Turnstile (who released the great TIME & SPACE this year), Angel Du$t (who share a member with Turnstile and are still riding high off 2016’s great Rock The Fuck On Forever), and Vein (who released the great errorzone this year). The tour begins in Chicago, then heads to the West Coast, then wraps up in the Northeast with shows in Baltimore, Philly, and Pittsburgh. All dates here.

GANG GANG DANCE (with INTERPOL and more)

Gang Gang Dance have one again added to their tour schedule behind this year’s very enjoyable Kazuashita (their first album in seven years). Their schedule now includes another NYC show: opening the free Interpol show at House of Vans on August 24 (which also has Honduras on the bill). RSVP for that show opens Wednesday (8/15). They also play Warm Up at Long Island City’s MoMA PS1 on 9/1 with Discwoman, Lizzo, The Italian New Wave, Logan Takahashi (of Teengirl Fantasy) and more TBA (tickets). All GGD dates here.

SUNFLOWER BEAN

Having just played a free SummerStage show with Porches last night, Sunflower Bean will be on tour for pretty much the rest of 2018, including a stretch opening for Interpol,  a show at NJ’s Asbury Lanes in October, and dates in Asia and the UK in November. Sunflower Bean will wrap up their 2018 with a homecoming show at Brooklyn’s Warsaw on December 7. Head here for all dates and tickets.

THE LEMON TWIGS

With their ambitious concept album, Go to School, out next week, The Lemon Twigs have just announced an extensive North American tour that will have them out this fall and into early 2019.

YOUNG JESUS / IAN SWEET

Indie rock bands Young Jesus and Ian Sweet both announced new albums today (for Saddle Creek and Hardly Art, respectively), and they also announced a tour together.

6LACK / TIERRA WHACK

Atlanta R&B singer 6LACK announced his new album East Atlanta Love Letter, following the release of the video for its single “Switch,” and he also announced a lengthy international tour in support of it. There’s a North American run with the rising Philly rapper Tierra Whack (who released her very unique Whack World project earlier this year), plus another North American run with Summer Walker and Australia/New Zealand runs with Boogie and THEY. The run with Tierra Whack hits NYC’s Hammerstein Ballroom on 11/14. All dates and tickets here.

LIL PUMP

Increasingly famous SoundCloud rapper Lil Pump (the “Gucci Gang” guy) is releasing Harverd Dropout this Friday (8/17), and he announced a lengthy tour to celebrate it. He plays NYC-area shows at Terminal 5 on 10/10 and Starland Ballroom on 10/17, and also makes stops in Toronto, Philly, Boston, Atlanta, LA, and more. All dates here.

MOUNTAIN MAN

Mountain Man, the trio featuring Sylvan Esso’s Amelia Meath, Molly Erin Sarle and Alexandra Sauser-Monnig, have just announced a fall tour in support of Magic Ship, their first album in eight years.

THE GARDEN / LE1F / MACHINE GIRL

Orange County garage punk jesters The Garden toured back in the spring in support of new LP  Mirror Might Steal Your Charm — and played the Coney Island Music Festival just a couple weeks back — and have just announce fall dates with LE1F and Machine Girl. The coast-to-coast tour hits Brooklyn on December 2 at Elsewhere Hall (tickets). All dates are here.

SAVES THE DAY / KEVIN DEVINE / AN HORSE

Saves the Day announced their first album in five years and a tour with very solid support from Kevin Devine and the back-in-action An Horse.

FOUR FISTS (aka P.O.S & ASTRONAUTALIS)

Indie rappers P.O.S and Astronautalis teamed as Four Fists back in 2013 and released a debut 7″, and now they’re releasing a full-length, 6666, on October 12 via Doomtree Records. They’re also touring, including Brooklyn’s Rough Trade on 11/9, as well as stops in DC, Philly, Boston, Chicago, LA, Portland, Seattle, and more. All dates and tickets here. Jazz/hip hop/etc keyboardist Robert Glasper is doing a residency at NYC’s Blue Note Jazz Club with 48 shows in 24 nights.

MEN I TRUST (OPENING FOR WILD NOTHING)

Montreal band Men I Trust will soon be on the road, opening on Wild Nothing’s upcoming tour, including the 11/16 Brooklyn Steel date. They’re also playing the 2018 edition of Tyler, The Creator’s Camp Flog Gnaw festival. Before all that they’re touring Europe — all dates are here.

CAPTURED TRACKS 10TH ANNIVERSARY TOUR (DRAHLA, WAX CHATTELS, LINA TULLGREN)

Captured Tracks, the label that’s home to Wild Nothing, DIIV and more, are celebrating their 10th anniversary as a label this year and to celebrate, three of their newer signings — UK band Drahla, American singer-songwriter Lina Tullgren, and New Zealand’s Wax Chattels — are touring North America together this fall. Things kick off in Brooklyn on October 18 at Elsewhere Zone One, then they make their way to the West Coast and back. METAL ALLIANCE TOUR w/ GOATWHORE, CASUALTIES, BLACK TUSK & more

The 2018 Metal Alliance Tour was announced. It begins in headliners Goatwhore’s hometown of New Orleans on Halloween.

KEVIN GATES

Kevin Gates has announced his return to touring after being released from prison earlier this year. He’s going on a 24-date trek this fall dubbed the “Luca Brasi 3 Tour,” which begins in Austin and then hits Atlanta, Nashville, Louisville, Detroit, Kansas City, and more. All dates here. Kevin also recently released a video for “Vouch” from his three-song Chained To The City project. Watch:
