LIL NAS X

Lil Nas X’s “Old Town Road” continues its chart-topping reign (and a couple other songs from his lackluster new EP are in the Billboard Hot 100 too), and he also continues to add shows. In addition to playing Adult Swim Fest, Day N Vegas, 515 Alive Music Festival, and a Buzzfeed show at NYC’s Webster Hall tonight (7/25), Lil Nas X is headlining the just-announced Z100 Summer Bash at NYC’s Pier 17 on August 29 (tickets on sale Friday, 7/26 at 10 AM). The latest “Old Town Road” remix is also out today — this one features RM of the hugely popular K-pop boy band BTS.

She’s also putting on her own festival/party, called Elancia at Brooklyn’s 592 Johnson on September 3. Says Yaeji, “Elancia is my love letter to the parties, DJs and friends that make New York my home. When I first moved here, I was going out almost every night of the week, getting lost in the freedom of sound and expression holding space on the dancefloor. Bouncing around Brooklyn raves felt like I was playing my favorite childhood video game, Elancia—I met amazing characters, went on side quests, and learned more about myself.” Elancia features sets from Gardens, Hot ‘N Spicy, Papi Juice, The Push, School of Hard Trax and Sublimate and Yaeji says she’ll “be joining many of them on the decks throughout the night, open to close.” Tickets are on sale.
