The following new tours were announced. Check the Tour Dates category every day for more.

THE LOW ANTHEM

Folk band The Low Anthem are celebrating the 10th anniversary of their fan favorite LP Oh My God, Charlie Darwin with a new limited-edition vinyl reissue, along with special anniversary tour dates where they’ll play the album in its entirety. The band said of the album a decade later, “It was a record about the sea levels rising, and the decaying order. Sadly, those songs still resonate.” The band just added a show at NYC’s Le Poisson Rouge on 11/22, and while this is the band’s only US tour date at the moment, the band will go on to celebrate the album in Europe this winter, with shows in London, Berlin, and more. Head here for all tour dates, and revisit Oh My God, Charlie Darwin in full below.

CASHMERE CAT

DJ/producer Cashmere Cat will head out on the Princess Catgirl tour (in support of the album of the same name), starting December 3 in Boston and also hitting NYC (Webster Hall on 12/4), Syracuse, Pittsburgh, DC, Toronto, Columbus, Detroit, Chicago, St. Louis, Santa Fe, Phoenix, San Francisco, Vancouver, Portland, San Diego, Los Angeles and more. Head here.

TOOL / KILLING JOKE

The Tool / Killing Joke tour went on sale today and is not surprisingly selling out quickly, so they already started adding new dates.

DEATH ANGEL / EXMORTUS / HELLFIRE

Thrash vets Death Angel (who were one of many bands featured in Murder in the Front Row) released their latest LP Humanicide earlier this year, and now they’ve announced a headlining North American tour.

GUNS N’ ROSES OPENERS

Guns N’ Roses will head out on a brief headlining tour across North America this fall, and the band has some of the openers. Among them: country singer Shooter Jennings, who also opened bassist Duff McKagan’s recent solo tour, along with Nashville-based Americana band Bishop Gunn, southern rockers Blackberry Smoke, hard rock band Tyler Bryant & The Shakedown, and LA band Dirty Honey on select dates. Check here for the full list of openers and tour dates.

APEX MANOR opening for STRAND OF OAKS

California-based Apex Manor released their second LP Heartbreak City earlier this year, after an eight-year gap following their 2011 debut, The Year of Magical Drinking. The band will soon hit the road, serving as openers for the first leg of Strand of Oaks’ fall tour, which kicks off at Charlottesville’s The Southern tonight (9/6). Other stops include Nashville, Denver, Kansas City, Asheville, Louisville, and several others. You can view all dates here, and check out the band’s recent EP Blueprints, consisting of early versions and cut songs from Heartbreak City, below.

METRONOMY

Metronomy announced a very intimate show at Brooklyn’s Rough Trade in September, supporting their upcoming fourth LP Metronomy Forever. It’s their only 2019 North American date, but they have shows in the UK, Europe and South America on the horizon.

THE MENZINGERS

Speaking of Rough Trade shows, The Menzingers just announced an acoustic album release show at the venue, which is free with purchase of the band’s forthcoming album Hello, Exile.
