The following new tours were announced. Check the Tour Dates category every day for more.

KORN replacing OZZY OSBOURNE at ROCKLAHOMA

Earlier this year, Ozzy Osbourne announced he’d be postponing all his 2019 tour dates, due to “an injury sustained while dealing with his recent bout of pneumonia.” One of his stops included a headlining appearance at Pryor, OK’s Rocklahoma in May, and it was just announced that Korn will be replacing Ozzy’s spot on the lineup. Aside from this, Korn will also be touring with Alice in Chains this summer. Head here for more details and festival passes.

LUST FOR YOUTH

Scandinavian synth duo Lust For Youth are dropping their self-titled sixth LP on June 7 via Sacred Bones, and they also announced a fall North American tour today. All dates (including NYC’s Elsewhere on 10/17) here. Check out the band’s new video for “By Any Means” below.

AS CITIES BURN / ALL GET OUT / MANY ROOMS

Post-hardcore band As Cities Burn will be releasing their first post-reunion LP Scream Through The Walls in June, and they’ll be bringing the album out on tour this summer with two cool support acts: from South Carolina indie rockers All Get Out and Houston singer/songwriter Many Rooms. The tour begins in Little Rock, before other shows in Chicago, Houston, LA, Portland, Seattle, Minneapolis, Louisville, Denver, and lots more. Tickets to all dates are on sale now.

ANI DIFRANCO (BOOK AND CONCERT TOURS)

Prolific songwriter Ani DiFranco will have a very busy 2019; her new memoir No Walls and the Recurring Dream drops early next month, and she’ll be promoting the book on tour, which entails Ani reading passages from the book, and discussing the memoir with a moderator. The book tour hits NYC for a sold-out event at Tishman Auditorium at The New School on 5/7, where Ani will be in conversation with former Planned Parenthood president Cecile Richards (more info here). Ani also makes stops in Washington D.C., Chicago, Austin, and more. Shortly after that tour wraps up, Ani will head out on a proper concert tour with her backing band, stopping in Houston, Milwaukee, Fargo, Cleveland Heights, Woodstock, and other cities, with support from Dianne Patterson and Lucy Wainwright on select shows. Tickets to the concert tour go on sale Friday (4/12). Ani’s also got an upcoming appearance at New Orleans Jazz Fest on 5/3. Check here for all Ani DiFranco dates.

QUEEN LATIFAH

Queen Latifah’s most recent addition to her very long resume is her recurring role in the Fox TV show Star, but the hip hop veteran will be returning to the stage for a few upcoming concerts happening throughout the year. She’s got a Long Island stop at NYCB Theatre at Westbury on 7/14, and further dates in Washington D.C., Highland Park, and Uncasville. Tickets to all dates (except DC) go on sale Friday (4/12) at 10 AM. Find all dates here.

BLONDE REDHEAD / LUDOVIC ALARIE

NYC trio Blonde Redhead have announced an East Coast mini-tour happening in June. They’ll play Brooklyn’s Industry City on 6/14 (as part of the venue’s 2019 Summer Series), and two other shows in Hamden, CT and Portsmouth, NH, with Montreal-based singer-songwriter Ludovic Alarie opening all dates. Tickets to all three shows go on sale Friday (4/12). View all dates here, and revisit the band’s 2018 single “We Should Be Holding Hands” below.

VAMPIRE WEEKEND

Vampire Weekend announced three New York state shows behind the heavily-anticipated Father of the Bride, including an “extra special” NYC show at Webster Hall in May (pizza and bagels included). That’s in addition to their much lengthier tour of larger venues including Madison Square Garden.
