The following new tours were announced. Check the Tour Dates category every day for more.

MAZZY STAR

The reunited Mazzy Star released the short-but-sweet Still EP last year, which was their first new music in five years. Their shows are still few and far between, so each new show announcement is exciting and they’ve just added a few for 2019. They’re playing Oakland’s Fox Theater on 2/24 (presale info), LA’s Cathedral Sanctuary at Immanuel Presbyterian Church on 2/26 & 2/27 with Gold Star (presale info), and Mexico City’s Festival Nrmal on 3/2 with Spiritualized, Death Grips, John Maus, and more TBA. Mazzy Star haven’t played the East Coast since 2013, but we hope that changes soon.

BROCCOLI CITY FESTIVAL 2019 LINEUP

DC-area fest Broccoli City Festival returns on April 26 & 27 at FedExField with a cool hip hop lineup featuring headliners Childish Gambino and Lil Wayne, plus 6LACK, Ella Mai, Lil Baby, Teyana Taylor, Wizkid, Gunna, City Girls, YNB Cordae, and more. Full lineup and tickets here.

DAMIEN RICE

Singer-songwriter Damien Rice is on tour this month, playing sold-out shows in Boston and NYC before heading to Australia and New Zealand. He’s just added a second show at NYC’s Town Hall on 1/25, this one a matinee where he’ll “play a collection of new songs and take a selection of questions from the audience.” All dates are here.

MY MORNING JACKET / WARPAINT

Warpaint are opening two of My Morning Jacket’s three shows this year, and also playing two hometown LA shows to celebrate their 15th anniversary. The other MMJ show is being opened by Amo Amo.

THE ANTLERS – ‘HOSPICE’ ACOUSTIC TOUR

The Antlers are celebrating the 10th anniversary of Hospice with a double white vinyl reissue, and acoustic shows where they’ll perform the album in full. BrooklynVegan and LPR are presenting the two NYC dates.

ROCK USA 2019 LINEUP

Rock USA happens July 18-20 in Oshkosh, WI, and like a lot of these bro-rock festivals, they’ve got cringey mainstream metal headliners but also some cooler stuff like Mastodon, Marilyn Manson, Rob Zombie, Clutch, and more. Full lineup and tickets here.

YVES TUMOR

Yves Tumor, who released one of our favorite albums of 2018, continues to expand his 2019 tour schedule, which includes Coachella, Primavera Sound, Big Ears, two NYC shows, and more.

SANTANA / THE DOOBIE BROTHERS

Santana have announced a tour with The Doobie Brothers to celebrate the 20th anniversary of their super popular Supernatural album and the 50th anniversary of their iconic Woodstock performance. They’re also the first act confirmed for one of the two Woodstock 50th events, the Bethel Woods Music and Culture Festival.

KAABOO TEXAS 2019 LINEUP

KAABOO Texas is a new Arlington, TX festival happening May 10-12. While you probably wanna avoid a lot of the big names at all costs (Kid Rock, Pitbull, etc), there’s some worthy stuff like Lauryn Hill, The B-52s, Garbage, Joan Jett, Violent Femmes, X, Eric Burdon & The Animals, Old 97’s, The English Beat, The Killers, Alanis Morissette, and more. Full lineup and tickets here.

ORVILLE PECK

They’ll be crossing the pond this month for their first-ever U.S. shows, playing NYC (1/28 @ Mercury Lounge) and Los Angeles (1/30 @ Moroccan Lounge).
