MY CHEMICAL ROMANCE

My Chemical Romance continue to expand their reunion tour, which now includes three UK shows, Russia, Italy, Ireland, Germany, and more. All dates here.

BON IVER

Bon Iver struck out at The Grammys last night (beaten by Billie Eilish twice, Vampire Weekend and Chris Cornell), but they have just announced three East Coast shows happening in July, playing Pittsburgh, Lewiston, NY and Portland, ME. Those are currently Bon Iver’s only North American shows, but they have tons of European dates. Head here for the full schedule.

BUDDY GUY (DATES WITH JONNY LANG, KENNY WAYNE SHEPHERD

Blues great Buddy Guy will be on tour starting in February, including deep south dates with Kenny Wayne Shepherd in March, and a run with Jonny Lang this summer that hits Indianapolis, Cincinnati, a few NYC area shows (Asbury Park, Englwood NJ, Westbury). During his run with Lang, Buddy will also play a headlining club show at NYC’s Sony Hall on July 23, and he’ll be in the area long before that as part of the tribute to BB King at Port Chester’s Capitol Theatre in February. LUCKI

Chicago rapper Lucki is touring in February and March, including dates in LA, Austin, Atlanta, DC, NYC, and more. All dates and tickets here.

DIET CIG / SAD13 / THIN LIPS

Diet Cig just released “Night Terrors,” their first new song since 2017 — with an album sure to follow sometime soon — and have also announced a spring tour that has them out with Sad13 (aka Speedy Ortiz’s Sadie Dupuis) and Thin Lips. The tour kicks off May 14 in Philly and hits DC, Brooklyn (Music Hall of Williamsburg on May 16), Providence, Boston, Montreal, Toronto, Detroit, Chicago, Iowa City, Atlanta, Charlottesville, and more. WEAKENED FRIENDS (OPENING FOR THE BETHS)

Portland, Maine indie rock trio Weakened Friends, who are busy working on their second full-length, have been tapped as openers on The Beths’ upcoming spring tour. Dates begin April 15 in Seattle and conclude May 3 in Chicago, and include a Brooklyn show at Rough Trade on April 20. SAMMY HAGAR / WHITESNAKE / NIGHT RANGER

Sammy Hagar and his band The Circle (guitarist Vic Johnson, for Van Halen bassist Michael Anthony and drummer Jason Bonham) will team up this summer with fellow ’80s hard rockers White Snake and Night Ranger for a 30-date summer tour that kicks off July 9 in West Palm Beach and wraps up September 20 in Chula Vista, CA, with stops in Charlotte, Cincinnati, the NYC area (BB&T Pavilion on 7/19, Jones Beach on 7/26, PNC Bank Arts Center on 8/21), Dallas, Phoenix, Salt Lake City and more. Tickets for the tour go on sale Friday, January 31 at 10 AM local time. Head here for dates.

HAILEY WHITTERS

Iowa-born, Nashville-based country singer Hailey Whitters is prepping a new album and touring, including dates with the legendary Tanya Tucker, dates with Jordan Davis, and a slot at Stagecoach.

AGNOSTIC FRONT / SICK OF IT ALL

In December, classic NYHC bands Agnostic Front and Sick Of It All played four hometown shows together, and now they’re taking this double bill on a lengthy North American trek.

CHURCH OF MISERY

Tokyo doom vets Church of Misery are celebrating their 25th anniversary with a North American tour in February and March, including a run with Truckfighters. They recently added a second Brooklyn show to that run. Updated dates here.

SPECTRAL VOICE / KRYPTS

Spectral Voice, the great Denver death doom band who share three members with current death metal leaders Blood Incantation, have announced a spring East Coast tour with Finnish death doomers (and Dark Descent labelmates) Krypts on most dates.

HORRENDOUS / CLOAK

One of the dates on the Spectral Voice tour overlaps with another very cool double billed metal tour, the Horrendous / Cloak tour.

NAPALM DEATH / ABORTED / TOMBS / WVRM, and THE LOCUST

Grind legends Napalm Death announced a North American tour, starting with a few West Coast dates with The Locust, and then including a lengthy run with Aborted and WVRM, which also includes Tombs on several dates.

MACHINE GIRL

NYC noise/industrial duo Machine Girl are touring with Code Orange, but first playing a hometown release show with .gif from god and others. All dates here.

CODE ORANGE

Speaking of, Code Orange added a hometown Pittsburgh release show to their tour with the stacked lineup of Every Time I Die, Zao, Jesus Piece, Machine Girl, and Facewreck.

JUNE OF 44

Louisville post-hardcore/math rock/post-rock greats June of 44 have been reunited since 2018, and their reunion now finally includes Northeast shows.

CIRCLE JERKS / NEGATIVE APPROACH / ADOLESCENTS

Circle Jerks added more reunion shows, including a lengthy run with fellow veteran hardcore bands Negative Approach and Adolescents.

DEEPER

Deeper just announced their second album and will be on tour in North America with Montreal’s Corridor in March.

ANNA CALVI

Anna Calvi has a new album on the way and is playing Coachella in April. Around the fest, Anna will tour North America, including shows in Quebec City, Toronto, Chicago, NYC, and San Francisco.

JOHN FOGERTY

Creedence Clearwater Revival’s John Fogerty spent 2019 on his “50 Year Trip” anniversary tour, and will be back on the road soon, with dates in Florida in February, West Coast and Southwest dates in March, and Northeast shows in April.

SOULWAX (TOUR POSTPONED)

Soulwax were to have started their first U.S. tour in forever beginning in February but they’ve just announced that it’s been postponed. It’s not visa issues, for once, but production design for the group’s new stage set.
