The following new tours were announced. Check the Tour Dates category every day for more.

THE HEAD AND THE HEART (with coupon for the NYC show)

The Head and The Heart are on tour in support of their 2019 album Living Mirage, making their way up the East Coast. After dates in Atlanta, Charlotte, and Raleigh, they arrive in Brooklyn for a show at Kings Theatre on Friday, October 4. Tickets are on sale now, and you can save $20 on pit tickets with the password CONNECTION. That deal runs through 10/3 at 10 PM, or while supplies last. After Kings, The Head and The Heart make their way to Port Chester for a show at The Capitol Theatre on Saturday, October 5 (tickets). See all their upcoming dates here.

THE NEW PORNOGRAPHERS

The New Pornographers just dropped their anticipated new album In The Morse Code Of Brake Lights, and they kick off a North American tour behind the album tonight in Madison, with support from Lady Lamb. Aside from these previously-announced dates, which includes an NYC show at Brooklyn Steel on November 7, the band has recently expanded their tour into early 2020, with new dates in LA, Seattle, Phoenix, Austin, Las Vegas, Dallas, San Francisco, and lots more. Diane Coffee (former Foxygen drummer Shaun Fleming) will support the band on tour throughout this leg, and all dates can be found here.

NARROW HEAD

Texas-based Narrow Head make addictive, shoegazy rock pulled straight from the ’90s, and they’ll head out on an East Coast tour next month. Their tour begins in New Orleans, before other stops in Brooklyn (Saint Vitus on 10/17), Philly, Baltimore, Miami, Orlando, Richmond, Atlanta, and more. Check here for all dates, and stream the band’s heavy, Swervedriver-esque single “Bulma” below.

WORLD/INFERNO FRIENDSHIP SOCIETY

It hasn’t been too long since punk/folk/klezmer collective World/Inferno Friendship Society last stopped in NYC, but they’ll soon return to the area in the form of Hallowmas, their annual celebration which typically involves lots of theatrics and surprise uses of fire, and this year’s Hallowmas happens at Warsaw on Halloween night. In addition, the band will play Alternative Tentacles’ 40th anniversary festival Tentacle Fest in Berkeley, CA, and O+ Kingston Festival on 10/11 in Kingston, NY. These are the band’s only dates at the moment.

BLACK MOON

Brooklyn rap vets Black Moon are releasing their new album Rise of Da Moon on October 18 via Duck Down, and they’ll celebrate shortly afterwards in their home city with a release show on November 1 at SOB’s. It appears to be their only upcoming date at the moment.

BILLIE EILISH

Fast-rising alt-pop star Billie Eilish announced a massive 2020 arena tour happening in March, which includes three big NYC shows.

THE DANCE (FIRST SHOWS ANNOUNCED)

The Dance, a new Manhattan club and music venue from Baby’s All Right and Elvis Guesthouse owner Billy Jones, revealed their first batch of shows, including appearances by MIKE, Surf Curse, Dirt Buyer, and more.
